FAQ

Fire Ring Questions

Where should I place a fire ring?

On level gravel, sand or bare soil, well away from your house, fences, trees and overhangs. Clear away grass and anything flammable around it.

Can I put a fire ring on a patio or pavers?

Direct heat can crack or discolor pavers and concrete. If you want a fire on a patio, a raised fire pit like the Hearthcrest is the better choice.

What can I burn in it?

Seasoned, dry firewood. Never use gasoline or other flammable liquids to start or rekindle a fire.

How do I keep it from rusting?

Remove ash after each use so moisture doesn't collect, and cover or store it somewhere dry during the off-season.

What warranty does it have?

A 1-year limited warranty. See our Warranty page for full coverage details and how to file a claim.
